Nestor Carbonell stars as Frank Duque on CBS's "Cane."
Nestor Carbonell's television credits include a starring role in "Suddenly Susan," for which he earned two ALMA Awards for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series and an NCLR Bravo Award nomination for Outstanding Individual Performance in a Comedy Series. Nestor Carbonell has also had guest starring roles in "Lost," "House," "Scrubs" and "Monk."
Nestor Carbonell's feature film credits include "Smokin' Aces," "The Lost City," "The Laramie Project" and "Jack the Dog." Nestor Carbonell also co-wrote and starred in "Attention Shoppers." Nestor Carbonell will next be seen playing the mayor of Gotham City in "The Dark Knight," the next installment in the Batman franchise.
Nestor Carbonell graduated from Harvard University with a degree in English. It was during his time at Harvard that a first-year drama course led to his interest in performing. Although Nestor Carbonell was born in New York City, he was raised in numerous locations including Mexico, Venezuela, Florida, Connecticut, the Bahamas and London.
Nestor Carbonell currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife, actress Shannon Kenny, and their two sons, Rafael and Marco. Nestor Carbonell enjoys screenwriting, reading and playing tennis. Nestor Carbonell's birth date is Dec.1.
