Robert Iler started his show business career at the age of six when he was discovered by his manager, Jeff Mitchell, of J. Mitchell Management while walking down the street in Manhattan with his dad. Robert Iler was immediately hired to appear in a Pizza Hut commercial but quickly decided that he really wanted to just be a "regular kid" so he retired from show business to concentrate on school, sports and his friends.
At the age of ten, Robert Iler decided he wanted to give show business another shot. Robert Iler returned to the business and appeared in numerous commercials and the feature film "The Tic Code" with Gregory Hines before being the cast as Anthony Jr., the son of mob boss Tony Soprano, in the HBO's hit series "The Sopranos."
Robert Iler received a Screen Actors Guild award for best ensemble cast for his role in "The Sopranos." Robert Iler also won the Hollywood Reporter's Young Star Award for best young actor in a drama TV series, two years in a row (1999 and 2000), for his work in "The Sopranos."
Robert Iler appeared with Sigourney Weaver and John Ritter in the 1999 Miramax film, "Tadpole." Robert Iler also appeared in the film "Daredevil" with Ben Affleck.
Robert Iler resides in Manhattan. Robert Iler loves all sports, especially football.
