Timothy Omundson stars as Detective Lassiter in USA Network original series "PSYCH."
The youngest of four children, Timothy Omundson was born in St. Joseph, Missouri, and raised in Seattle where he joined The Seattle Children's Theater when he was 12 years old. With acting as his main focus, Timothy Omundson interned at theaters throughout high school and spent the summer of his junior year in New York at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Timothy Omundson also held the honor of Washington State Debate Champion in Dramatic Interpretation for two years.
Shortly after earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater from the University of Southern California, Timothy Omundson received the Jack Nicholson and James A. Doolittle awards for outstanding achievements in acting. Timothy Omundson's professional career began when Larry David, creator of "Seinfeld," gave him his SAG card on an episode of the hit show.
Most recently seen opposite Emmy Award-winning actress Tyne Daly on the long-running CBS series "Judging Amy," Timothy Omundson's numerous television credits also include appearances on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "CSI: Miami," "24" and "The O.C." Timothy Omundson has also had lead and recurring roles on "Jericho," "Medicine Ball," "Luck of the Irish," "SeaQuest DSV," "Jack & Jill," "Fired Up," the international cult hit "Xena" and the critically acclaimed "Nip/Tuck" and "Deadwood."
Timothy Omundson's film credits include "Down with Love," "Swordfish," "House on Haunted Hill" and "Starship Troopers."
Theater roles for Timothy Omundson include turns as Iago in "Othello", Faustus in "Dr. Faustus", Valmont in "Les Liaisons Dangereuses" and 'Newman Noggs' in "Nicholas Nickleby."
Timothy Omundson lives with his wife Allison and their family in Los Angeles.
