 |
Tricia Helfer stars as "Number Six" on Sci Fi Channel's "Battlestar Galactica." Brilliant and devastatingly beautiful, Six is one of a new breed of Cylons, indistinguishable in appearance from their human creators. Appearing only to Baltar, she offers dark prophesies, cruel taunts and jealous rebukes.
Tricia Helfer recently completed filming the Independent feature film "MEM-OR-E." Tricia Helfer stars in the film opposite Billy Zane, Dennis Hopper, and Anne Margaret. Tricia Helfer plays the role of 'Stephanie Jacobs,' a strikingly beautiful painter and the love interest of Billy Zane's character 'Dr. Taylor Briggs.' Victoria's Secret Model, Tricia Helfer was born in Donalda, Alberta, Canada, where she was raised on the family grain farm. Tricia Helfer fell into modeling when an agent discovered her in the line up of the local movie theater and sent her to New York. There Tricia Helfer won the "Ford Supermodel of the World Contest" and began her career as an Elite Model working for magazines such as "Elle," "Vogue" and "Cosmopolitan." Some of Tricia Helfer's campaigns include Ralph Lauren, Channel, Giorgio Armani and she has graced the catwalks of designers like Versace, Dolce Gabbana, and Christian Dior to name a few. While modeling, Tricia Helfer also worked as a correspondent reporter for Canada's "Ooh La La" Fashion television where she realized a passion for acting during an on-camera class. This prompted her move to Los Angeles after two years of studying where Tricia Helfer quickly landed the role of 'Sarah,' the hero's love interest, in the two-hour premiere of the Showtime series, "Jeremiah."
Tricia Helfer memorably played a model who tries to cut off her own face in an episode of the hit series "C.S.I.: Crime Scene Investigation," and has recently finished filming the lead role of 'Eva' in the independent feature "White Rush."
Tricia Helfer also played pop icon Farrah Fawcett in NBC's MOW about "Charlie's Angels."
