He loves surfing and is a baseball nut; his favorite team is the Houston Astros. His mother and sister (Kathleen and Kate) are both published authors working on books due out later this year. Peter's father is a psychiatrist and has been instrumental in the development of "Nate Getz," the character Cambor plays on the series.
