Peter Kelegahn stars in "18 to Life" as Ben Bellow, a municipal judge and father to young newlywed Tom (Michael Seater).
Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Keleghan studied acting at John Abbott College and Concordia University. He then concentrated on classical theatre with a diploma from The London Academy Of Music And Dramatic Art in England and a degree from York University in Toronto. He went on to become a member of The Second City, The Stratford Music and Shaw Festivals.

Back in Canada, he created the role of Jim Walcott for "The Newsroom," which won an International Emmy. He then joined the cast of "Made In Canada" (a.k.a. "The Industry") as Alan Roy for a five-year run. Keleghan had a continuing role on "Slings and Arrows," and is a busy voice-over artist, as well. He also produced his own pilot called "Walter Ego."
On the big screen, he had a lead role in the feature film "Niagara Motel" and appeared in the films "Eating Buccaneers," "The Bend," "Cooper's Camera," "Gravytrain," "Leslie, My Name Is Evil" and the short film "PMO."
After a 12-year absence, Keleghan returned to the stage to tremendous reviews in the one-man show "Fully Committed" in 2005. He was a semi-regular in the series "Billable Hours," for which he is nominated for his latest Gemini Award. He also has a continuing guest role on "Murdock Mysteries."
Keleghan is a licensed private pilot, and currently resides in Toronto, Ontario.

He then moved to Los Angeles, where he starred in three pilots and guest starred in popular series, including "Seinfeld," "Murphy Brown" and "Cheers."
