PJ Boudousqué stars in "Ascension" on Syfy as James Toback.

Up-and-coming actor PJ Boudousqué is a Hollywood newcomer who made his screen debut in the lead role of Brad Lunders in the French thriller "Coldwater" about a teenage boy who is sent to a juvenile reform facility in the wilderness.

On television, Boudousqué appeared in episodes of TNT's "Major Crimes," A&E's "Longmire," ABC Family's "Pretty Little Liars," FX's "American Horror Story" and FOX's "Bones."

Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Boudousqué always had a strong passion for film. He grew up primarily playing punk and alternative music. After a series of moves between New Orleans and Los Angeles, PJ returned to L.A. with hopes of attending law school. In search of a new creative outlet, he began to study acting and performed in a number of community plays. In 2011, he procured theatrical representation and began studying with acclaimed acting coach Michael Woolson.

Boudousqué currently resides in Los Angeles.
