In 2008 Taylor starred in the lead role, with Joshua Jackson, in the psychological thriller "Shutter," for 20th Century Fox and New Regency Studios. Also that year she co-starred in the independent feature "Bottle Shock," alongside Alan Rickman, Bill Pullman and Chris Pine. The film premiered at Sundance Film Festival, and Taylor was honored as one of the 2008 "7 Fresh Faces in Film."

She returned to Australia in 2009 to star in the critically-acclaimed feature film "Cedar Boys" with Martin Henderson and Les Chantery. In 2010 Taylor starred in another well-received Australian film, "Summer Coda," completed production on the Australian feature "Red Dog," opposite Josh Lucas and directed by Kriv Stenders, and on Regency Enterprises' "Darkest Hour," directed by Chris Gorak and starring opposite Emile Hirsch, to be released in December 2011.

Taylor returned to Australia and wrapped production on Working Dog's romantic comedy, "25," directed by Rob Sitch. She also stars in the feature film "Loft," with James Marsden and Wentworth Miller. Additional film credits include the independent films "Ghost Machine" and "Splinterheads."

Taylor made her U.S. television debut in a recurring role on ABC's "Grey's Anatomy." She is also the face of the popular Australian clothing brand, Bonds.
