Ray Liotta stars in "Charlie St. Cloud" as Florio Ferrente, opposite Zac Efron and Kim Basinger.

Ray Liotta recently starred in "Observe and Report" as Detective Harrison, Miguel Arteta's "Youth in Revolt," and the runaway box office hit "Wild Hogs," alongside John Travolta and Tim Allen, as the bad-boy leader of a biker gang. He was also seen in "Date Night," opposite Steve Carell and Tina Fey.

Liotta began his career with a Golden Globe-nominated performance in Jonathan Demme's "Something Wild." He then starred as Eugene in the critically acclaimed "Dominic and Eugene," and followed up this role with his portrayal of soul-searching Shoeless Joe Jackson in the Oscar-nominated "Field of Dreams."

Perhaps the film that brought Liotta his most widespread acclaim was Martin Scorsese's "Goodfellas," in which he played opposite Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci. Liotta's performance as Henry Hill helped the film earn a Best Picture Academy Award nomination and solidified Liotta's high standing with critics and the public alike.

With nearly 50 feature films to his credit, Liotta has chosen diverse roles in comedies such as "Corrina, Corrina" and "Heartbreakers," or thrillers like "Hannibal," "Unlawful Entry," and "No Escape." He made his debut as a producer on Joe Carnahan's "Narc," which premiered at the 2002 Sundance Film Festival and for which Liotta's performance garnered him an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. His additional notable film credits with cutting-edge directors include Ted Demme's "Blow"; Nick Cassavettes' "John Q"; James Mangold's "Copland" and "Identity"; and Guy Ritchie's "Revolver."

On television, Liotta won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor on the long-running series "ER." He also received a Screen Actors Guild nomination for his portrayal of Frank Sinatra in HBO's "The Rat Pack."

Liotta made his Broadway debut in 2004 opposite Frank Langella in Stephen Belber's "Match," for which Liotta received a Distinguished Performance honor at the 70th Annual Drama League Awards.
A New Jersey native, Liotta began acting while a student at the University of Miami.

He now resides with his family in Los Angeles.
