Regé-Jean Page stars in A&E's miniseries "Roots" as Chicken George, Kizzy's son, who is a handsome social magnet who knows how to transfix a crowd with a story, yet doesn't appreciate what he has until his luck abandons him.

Since graduating from Drama Centre London in 2013, Regé-Jean Page has been learning his trade as an actor across screen productions of almost every size. He appeared in both the no-budget independent film "Disorder" and the American action film, "Survivor," starring Milla Jovovich and Pierce Brosnan. On UK television, he had recurring roles in both Channel 4's comedy "Fresh Meat" and BBC's drama "Waterloo Road."

Page also made an ambitious debut at the helm of his own, experimental, micro-budget short, "Ghost Runner," the result of a year's long exercise among friends in slow-burn collaboration on character and concept development.

Onstage, Page has performed in "Merchant of Venice" at Shakespeare's Globe, "The History Boys" at Sheffield Crucible, "Our Days of Rage" at Old Vic Tunnels, "Gold & Popcorn" at NYT, "Fastburn" at both NYT and Knee High, "Busted Jesus Comix" at Above the Stag, "DNA" at Jigsaw Youth Theatre, "Burn" at Watford Palace Theatre, "Where I Come From" at Bull Theatre, "Alpha - Omega" at Peace Child, and "Oliver!" at Millfield Theatre.
