"Rev Run's Renovation" is a reality series on DIY Network that chronicles the home renovation of hip hop icon Joseph Ward Simmons (aka Rev. Run), best known as DJ Run from the influential rap group, Run DMC.

Rev. Run keeps it in the family as his 9,000 sq. ft. home in New Jersey undergoes a complete renovation in this series. Rev. Run, his wife Justine and his three children — Daniel (Diggy), Russell (Russy) and Miley — give their 4-bedroom, 5-bathroom a much-needed facelift. The series captures this family-based project as they update the entire house, including the great room, kitchen, master suite and garage. His three children also will get newly renovated bedrooms and custom bathrooms. They even add an indoor swimming pool!

As the family mansion is gutted from top to bottom, Run and Justine debate the new design possibilities for each space. Justine has grand plans to tap the budget to transform her outdated kitchen into a sleek, modern European-style space, while Run wants a mini indoor pool and spa. It's a game of give and take where big ideas are passionately pursued.

The series also chronicles the design and construction of new bedrooms and custom bathrooms for the kids: Russy wanted a "zen-like" room, Diggy preferred his new space be "contemporary," while Miley asked for her new room to be like "fairytale castle." The series features Mr. and Mrs. Simmons' as they tackle each stage of the renovation with a lot of grace and elbow grease to turn the dated property into the ultimate family dream home.

Rev Run and Michael Lehman are executive producers of the series.
