He recently completed the independent feature "BFF & Baby," which premieres June 18 as part of the Los Angeles Film Festival and stars Kate Bosworth, Rachel Bilson and Justin Kirk. Additionally, Coiro completed the independent feature "Chlorine" opposite Kyra Sedgwick and Vincent D'Onofrio.
Coiro starred in the film "Snow and Ashes," which won the Sparky Award for Best Narrative Film at SlamDance in 2010. Other film credits include "Order of Chaos" and David Goyer's "The Unborn."
Coiro made his acting debut on Broadway in Lincoln Center's "Dinner at Eight" and, on the New York stage, most recently starred opposite Jason Biggs in "Boys' Life" at Second Stage. He was also seen in "This Lime Tree Bower."
Coiro was born in Washington D.C. and grew up in New York and New Jersey. He graduated with a BFA from the Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama. He currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife, director Kat Coiro, and their 3-year-old daughter.
