Rich Sandomeno from "Project Accessory" is one of the contestants on the Lifetime fashion accessory design competition series. He specializes in jewelry. He is currently living in Los Angeles, California, but is originally from Elmwood Park, New Jersey.

Before making a living from designing jewelry, Rich Sandomeno ("Project Accessory") worked as a heavy-duty diesel mechanic. That, as well as his upbringing in the post-industrial wasteland of northeastern New Jersey, clearly informed his aesthetic.

His work explores the tense intersection of the organic by the industrial, and particularly the consumption of one by the other. Each piece goes through his hands, and all jewelry is cast in either New York City or Los Angeles and hand-finished by him. Because of the hands-on approach to making jewelry, each piece is unique. Everything is made on an as-needed basis. His main objective is to create designs in which form follows function. One of his strongest beliefs is that fads come and go, but style lasts forever.

Sandomeno is the owner and designer of Spragwerks, which he started in 2002. The idea was to create a line of jewelry and accessories that had style, originality, and integrity while still being affordable. Spragwerks is fueled by a passion for rock-n-roll, old cars, tattoos and urban decay.
