Richard Herd from "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" is one of the senior pranksters in the NBC hidden-camera series.

Richard Herd is well known to television viewers as Mr. Wilhelm, George's boss on "Seinfeld," for which he received a Screen Actors Guild Award. He portrayed John on the miniseries "V," Admiral Noyce on "Seaquest," Admiral Paris on "Voyager" and was a series regular on "T.J. Hooker." Herd's numerous television credits include "Desperate Housewives," "Cold Case," "The O.C" and "The Golden Girls." 

On the big screen, Herd has appeared in "The China Syndrome," "All the President's Men," "F.I.S.T.," "The Onion Field," "Summer Rental," "Private Benjamin," "Sgt. Bilko" and "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil." He has worked in the theater in both New York and Los Angeles, and won Drama Logue Awards for "My Last Confession" and "Death of a Salesman." 

He is a published poet, and his paintings are in collections in America and throughout Europe. Herd is also the co-author of "Prison of the Crown," which had its world premiere at the Abbey Theatre in Dublin and was recently produced at The Irish Repertory Theatre in New York.
