Rick Dale from "American Restorations" hosts the History Channel reality docu-series. He is also featured on History's "Pawn Stars." He is the owner of Rick's Restorations, a family business that finds, restores and up-cycles cools objects ranging from Cadillacs to Coke Machines.

On "Pawn Stars," Rick Dale has restored everything from barber chairs to a 1937 gas pump. The before and after reveals of his work are always highlights on "Pawn Stars," in part because of the history nuggets Rick shares about each object, including where, when and why they were invented, who used them and how fixing or transforming them changes their value. He considers himself a storyteller who works with tools instead of a pen. Each episode of "American Restorations" follows Rick, his staff and his teenage son, as they search for a variety of objects to be bought, bartered and transformed as they set about to restore objects to precise original detail.

After 27 years in the business Rick Dale is an expert when it comes to restoring any classic object to its original state. With unbridled passion and a unique skill set, Rick can take everything from an old beaten down 1940s gas pump to a rusted out 1950s soda machine and make them look and work like they are brand new again upping the value of each item in the process. Rick isn't just an exceptional craftsman; he is a business man who must manage the big personalities of his employees. At nine years old Rick restored his first item; a beat up bicycle given to him by his father and he hasn't looked back since.
