Rio DeJarnett from "Chainsaw Gang" stars in the CMT reality docu-series. He is a chainsaw carver.

Rio DeJarnett began working at his family Ranch in Buckeye, Arizona, when he was only six years old. He got his contractor's license at 21 and has worked in construction and "slinging whiskey" from California to Miami Beach and many points between. In 1998, Rio started an art gallery in Malibu, California, with his sister and brother-in-law — and met Stacy Poitras when he came in seeking representation for his chainsaw sculptures. Rio took up the art form himself and a friendship — and friendly rivalry — was born!

Rio was married once and has a 23-year-old daughter. In 1999 he began an internship with an 85-year-old beekeeper and now has hundreds of colonies of bees and his own honey-making operation (some of which he uses to make his "liquid lightning"). A man of many talents, he's a "tinkerer" who can build and/or fix nearly anything. Rio loves working at Deadwood for the "natural surrounding beauty, the human agreement from everyone that has ever been here and the camaraderie of the gang that is presently here." Rio's philosophy of life ... "Wake up happy every day ... because you did!"
