Rob Brown stars in "Treme" on HBO as Delmond Lambreaux.
Rob Brown received national recognition and critical acclaim in his feature-film debut as Jamal Wallace in Gus Van Sant's "Finding Forrester." A natural-born talent who had never studied acting nor had any professional acting experience, Brown's role in the film won him the 2000 Las Vegas Critics Award for Best Male Newcomer, as well as the Golden Satellite Award for Outstanding New Talent.

Brown graduated from Amherst College in 2008 and majored in psychology. Brown, who was born in Harlem and raised in Brooklyn, currently resides in New York City.

From his work in "The Express," Brown was nominated for an NAACP Best Actor Award and chosen to participate in the coveted 2009 Vanity Fair "Young Hollywood" cover feature. Previous film credits include "Stoploss," "Coach Carter," opposite Samuel Jackson, and "Take the Lead," opposite Antonio Banderas.
