Rob Taylor from "The Voice" is one of top 48 artists in Season 8 of the NBC reality singing competition series. From Baton Rouge, Louisiana, he is on Christina Aguilera's team.

Rob Taylor sang "I Want You" by Luke James for his blind audition. After Aguilera, Adam Levine and Pharrell Williams all turned their chairs around, Rob chose Aguilera to be his coach.

Rob learned to sing at church with his grandmother. When he graduated high school, he auditioned for and was accepted to Boston's Berklee College of Music. Even though he was offered a partial scholarship, he chose to stay home and care for his ailing mother.
