Robbie Amell stars in "The Tomorrow People" on The CW as Stephen Jameson. The show is produced by Julie Plec and Greg Berlanti and revolves around several young people from around the world who represent the next stage in human evolution and work together to defeat the forces of evil.

Talented and handsome are just a couple of words to describe one of the hottest young actors in Hollywood who recently played the recurring role of DB in NBC's comedy "1600 Penn" as "D.B." and Nick in MTV's "Zach Stone is Gonna be Famous." In 2012, Robbie was cast as the leading character in FOX's pilot for "Like Father," created and directed by Bill Lawrence, and also Marc Cherry's ABC pilot, "Hallelujah."

Amell is best known for his role in the critically acclaimed Nickelodeon show "True Jackson, VP." On the show, he played Jimmy Madigan, the love interest to the main character True (Keke Palmer). In addition, Amell has also been seen in episodes of such popular television shows as "Hot in Cleveland," "Hawaii Five-0," "Revenge," "Pretty Little Liars," "CSI: NY," "Brothers and Sisters" and "How I met Your Mother."

In addition, he starred in Cartoon Network's TV movie "Scooby-Doo! Curse of the Lake Monster," reprising his role as Fred from "Scooby-Doo! The Mystery Begins." His film credits include "Struck by Lightening," "Anatomy of the Tide" and "American Pie Presents: Beta House." He played the leading role of Andy Brazil in the TNT MOW "The Hornet's Nest" and the sexy Drew Patterson in "Picture This," opposite Ashley Tisdale.

Born in Toronto, Ontario, Amell's journey to Tinseltown wasn't like most young actors. While his mother had secured a commercial and print agent for him at the age of six, he was never consumed with Hollywood and concentrated his efforts into sports. He was one of the best hockey players in his high school and had thoughts of going pro when everything changed. When he was a junior in high school he was called in for his first ever movie audition for a featured role as Eugene Levy and Carmen Electra's son, Daniel, in the motion picture "Cheaper by the Dozen 2." He fit the mold of the character so well, that the writers gave him a line to say, and then another, and then another and eventually his character blew up to a strong supporting role and Amell got the acting bug! His parents were very supportive and told him to wait on college for a bit and follow his dream of acting. So two short years later after graduation, Amell packed up and headed for Los Angeles.

When Amell isn't acting, one of his passions is being a part of One Heartland, a non-profit charity that helps children with HIV and AIDS. He loves to participate in their summer camps that are held every year in Malibu and Minnesota, bringing children from all over the world (most from poverty) and giving them an expense-free week at the camp.
