Robert Ben Garant was born in Cookeville, Tennessee. Robert Ben Garant spent the early nineties in New York with the comedy group "The State" on MTV. Robert Ben Garant then wrote, produced, and occasionally appeared in "Viva Variety" on Comedy Central. Since relocating to Los Angeles, Robert Ben Garant has written films for Disney, Spyglass, Imagine, Warner Brothers, Columbia, Paramount, New Line, Dimension and Universal Pictures, as well as "Night at the Museum I" and "Night at the Museum II" for Twentieth Century Fox. Robert Ben Garant wrote and directed "Balls of Fury" for Universal, and "Reno 911!: Miami" for Fox and Paramount. In his spare time, Robert Ben Garant writes, directs, executive produces and stars in Comedy Central's hit series "Reno 911!" Robert Ben Garant lives next to the Hollywood Bowl. Robert Ben Garant has complained about the noise, but they never listen.
