Robert Knepper stars in "Cult" on The CW as Roger Reeves / Billy Grimm.

On television, Robert Knepper is most recognized for his role as Theodore "T-Bag" Bagwell on "Prison Break." He also starred in NBC's "Heroes," as Samuel Sullivan, an enigmatic leader of a traveling Carnival that has become a home for those with special abilities and powers who don't want to deal with the real world. After Samuel's brother dies, he makes it his personal mission to start recruiting others with abilities

He has had recurring roles on the series"Stargate Universe," as Simeon, a member of the Lucian Alliance, "Carnivale," "Thieves," "Haunted" and "Presidio Med." He has guest-starred on series such as "Breakout Kings," "Shameless," "Criminal Minds," "ER," "The West Wing" and "Getting Out." Knepper also starred in the miniseries "Jackie, Ethel, Joan: The Women of Camelot."

Knepper starred in the feature film adaptation of "Hitman," based on the best-selling video game of the same name. His additional feature film credits include "The Day the Earth Stood Still," "Transporter 3," "Good Night, and Good Luck," "Hostage," "Species III," "Swatters" and "Love & Sex," as well as "Young Guns II," "Renegades," "That's Life" and "Wild Thing."

He owes his acting career in large part to his mother, who, when he was a child, worked in the props department for a community theater in Fremont, Ohio. This involvement sparked his interest in the arts, leading him to work in community theater and high school productions. He went on to study drama at Northwestern University.
