Robert Walden stars in "Happily Divorced" on TV Land as Glen.
Robert Walden attended Stuyvesant High School and CCNY, managing to study with Lee Strasberg and Frank Corsaro, attend the H-B Studios and appear on Broadway, all while still an undergraduate. Upon graduation, he became the youngest member of The Actors Studio. He has been nominated for three Emmys for "Lou Grant" and two Cable Ace awards for "Brothers." Both TV series ran for five years. He has guest-starred in scores of TV shows, including "Law & Order" and "The West Wing," and some thirty movies for television. He's appeared in over forty films, including Oscar winners "All the President's Men" and "Hospital."
He's performed off-Broadway, and at major regional theaters, including Mark Taper (LA), ACT (San Francisco), Old Globe (San Diego), Cincinnati Playhouse, Arena Stage (D.C.) "Dylan," the first of six plays he directed in LA, won or was nominated for every major award, including three from LA Critic's Circle, seven Dramalogues, winning Best Actor, Actress, Production and Director.
A member of the DGA and the WGA, he has directed TV episodes and written scripts for shows including "Twilight Zone," "Who's the Boss?," "Brothers" and "Beauty and the Beast." He also teaches acting at The New School of Drama, coaches privately and consults on major studio films. He directed the play, "Girl in Heat," which opened off-Broadway.
