"Rogue" (TV show) is DirecTV's Audience Network's first original series. The original suspense-drama stars award-winning actress Thandie Newton ("Mission Impossible 2," "Crash") and Marton Csokas ("The Debt," "Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring").

"Rogue" revolves around Grace (Newton), a morally and emotionally conflicted undercover detective who is tormented by the possibility that her own actions contributed to her son's death. Grace's search for the truth is further complicated by her forbidden relationship with Jimmy (Csokas), the crime boss who may have played a hand in the crime. A smart, complex, character-led thriller, the show explores loss, grief, identity, family bonds, second chances and redemption. Both Grace and Jimmy not only struggle with who they are, they also struggle with who they want to be. Both cross the line — morally, emotionally, sexually — with devastating consequences for their own lives and those around them.

In addition to Newton and Csokas, the cast includes Ian Hart ("Luck"), Claudia Ferri ("The Killing"), Joshua Sasse ("Frankenstein's Army," "The Big I am"), Jonathan Holmes, Sarah Jeffrey, Ian Tracey ("Intelligence," "Hell on Wheels"), Jarod Joseph ("Fringe"), Matthew Beard ("And When Did You Last See Your Father," "An Education"), and Martin Donovan ("Simple Men," "Weeds"). Brian Kirk ("Luck," "Game of Thrones," "Boardwalk Empire") directs the first episode.

Season 2

Cole Hauser ("Transcendence," "Olympus Has Fallen") joins the cast as Ethan, a former soldier who left law school to enlist in the military after 9/11. Ethan is the founder of a security consulting firm in San Francisco, which he runs with three former military buddies. This band of brothers is united by a terrible secret, a dark event that has quietly haunted them for years.

Season 2 will continue to focus on Grace Travis (Newton) as she moves forward with her life after finally avenging her son's death in season one. Opting for a stable position, Grace has been assigned, as a handler, to an FBI task force investigating a local prostitution ring. However, when circumstances conspire against her, Grace is faced with the difficult decision to go back undercover inside the Ethan's security firm.

Season 4

The new season moves back to San Francisco as characters seek revenge and redemption. Ethan Kelly faces his toughest challenge yet. During his quest to slay his past ghosts, he falls into a hellish labyrinth of criminality and betrayal by the police. Ethan's journey to find redemption could prove to be his last. Meanwhile, Mia Rochlan seeks revenge and will stop at nothing to make Ethan pay for double-crossing her.

Joining the stellar cast this season is Meaghan Rath ("Being Human," "New Girl") as Clea Annou, a sharp San Francisco police detective with relentless dedication to both her job and her family.

A Canada-UK coproduction, "Rogue" is executive produced by renowned UK producer/director Nick Hamm for Greenroom Entertainment; John Morayniss and Michael Rosenberg for eOne; and Steven Marrs from Momentum Entertainment Group, who also helped broker the deal with DirecTV. Series creator Matthew Parkhill ("The Caller") also serves as writer and supervising producer.
