Ron Mustafaa stars in "Skins" on MTV as Abbud. The role marks his TV series debut.

Ron Mustafaa was 6 years old when his family moved from India to Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. He's currently attending the University of Toronto as an undergrad student majoring in International Law and Political Science. Ron's hobbies include acting, playing basketball, watching movies, strumming the guitar and hanging out with friends. While he hopes that he will pursue a career in film and television, he is also very academic and aspires to attend law school in the future. Ron's favorite actors include Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro, and his favorite movie is "Raging Bull."

In an interview, Mustafaa said, "Honestly, for me, I went in and was like, 'I'm just going to give this a shot.' I had been acting for awhile doing commercial stuff, and I really loved the show, so I wanted to give it a shot. It was in Toronto, so I went in for the experience, but you still have to try your best and do well. From there, it just picked up. Obviously, there's some luck involved and a lot of things going into it, but I just take it one step at a time, and it worked out."

He also said that the show's creator "even told us to stop watching it [the U.K. Version] after we got the parts because they didn't want us to copy the characters."
