Rose McIver stars in "iZombie" on The CW as Olivia "Liv" Moore, a rosy-cheeked, disciplined, over-achieving medical resident who had her life path completely mapped out ... until the night she attended a party that unexpectedly turned into a zombie feeding frenzy.

On television, Rose McIver recently had recurring roles in Showtime's "Masters of Sex" as Vivian, the daughter of Provost Barton Scully (Beau Bridges) and Margaret (Alison Janney), and ABC's "Once Upon a Time" as Tinker Bell. She also starred in the Lifetime original movie "Petals on the Wind," a sequel to the highly rated "Flowers in the Attic," and ABC's children's program "Power Rangers R.P.M." as Summer Landsdown, who is the Yellow Bear RPM Ranger, and recurred in the CW Seed web series "Play It Again, Dick."

On the big screen, McIver was seen in Peter Jackson's "The Lovely Bones," starring Rachel Weisz, Mark Wahlberg and Saoirse Ronan, "Brightest Star," as the romantic lead opposite Chris Lowell, and "Blinder" alongside Jack Thompson and Anna Hutchinson.

McIver was born and raised just west of the city of Auckland, New Zealand. She got her start in acting when her older brother was scouted for a short film called "The Joker," and she played his infant sibling. Establishing herself as a child who could behave on set and remember lines, she began to get more roles. Her first significant role was at the young age of three when she played an angel in the Jane Campion's Oscar-winning movie "The Piano."

McIver went on to pursue acting while at grade school and, during school holiday breaks, she would book small roles in local films and television shows. At 16, she landed the lead in a television series called "Maddigan's Quest." After that, she juggled school and work for her final two years of high school. She has no formal acting training other than while attending Avondale College, she took some drama classes and performed in a number of school musicals. She has been seen in such New Zealand produced television series as "Super City," "Legend of the Seeker," "Xena: Warrior Princess," "Shortland Street" and "Rude," as well as many other regional television shows, commercials and theatrical productions.

Born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand, McIver uses her spare time to surf, snowboard, sing or just curl up in bed with a good book. She is based now in Los Angeles, but often goes back to New Zealand, which she also considers home.
