Ryan Xie from "Child Genius" is one of the contestants featured in the Lifetime reality competition series. He is eleven years old and lives in Charlotte, North Carolina. His mother is Sherry Li, SVP Bank of America, while his father is Ting Xie, President of Texture Home LLC.

With a competitive genius brother, Ryan Xie grew up with a wealth of knowledge that is unmatched in his home town. A self described perfectionist, scholastic work comes naturally to him, especially math. With an IQ of 155, Ryan's intelligence runs in the family, his grandfather is a famous scholar and top general in China. He frequently observes many students in his gifted school who work extremely hard, and wonders what it must be like to have to work so hard at school.

An already self-described "genius," Ryan finds school comes easy to him and is already many grades ahead in all subjects. With a strong family lineage of geniuses, Ryan has set high standards for himself. He has a lot to prove and won't stop until he does.

His goal is to become a CEO of a worldwide business. His interests include violin, tennis, swimming, Legos, chess and Boy Scouts.
