Sage Ryan stars in "The Protector" on Lifetime as Nick Sheppard.
At a very young age, Sage Ryan has already found a successful acting career in Hollywood. In 2007 he got his big break, appearing on Season 2 of the hit show "America's Got Talent" and advancing to the second round before being eliminated. He has since landed guest roles on several hit series, including "Grey's Anatomy," "The Closer" and "Lie to Me."
In addition, Sage appeared in the recent big-screen remake of "A Christmas Carol," starring Jim Carrey, as well as the films "My Uncle Rafael" and the cult hit "Piranha 3D," in which he played the son of Elisabeth Shue. Sage recently returned from Canada, where he was appearing in "Spooky Buddies," the upcoming Disney feature film.
Sage has also appeared in "Les Miserables" at the Hollywood Bowl with Lea Michele, as well as "Gianni Schicchi" with the Los Angeles Opera, directed by Woody Allen.
Sage is a vegan, as well as an activist currently working with Ocean Revolution, a nonprofit that promotes more sustainable human engagement with oceans. Ryan lives in Los Angeles with his family.
