Sam Reid stars in History Channel's miniseries "Hatfields & McCoys," opposite Kevin Costner and Bill Paxton, as Tolbert McCoy, the older, hotheaded son of Randall and Sally McCoy.

Up next for Reid is Alex Proyas' "Paradise Lost" in the role of Raphael, a minor angel who errs on the side of caution when it comes to dealing with Lucifer (Bradley Cooper).

Sam Reid is an up-and-coming British actor who was seen in Roland Emmerich's "Anonymous," opposite Rhys Ifans, Vanessa Redgrave and David Thewlis, as the Earl of Essex. Reid has also appeared in many UK television series such as "MI-5," "Whitechapel" and "All Saints." He was also seen in the telefilm "The Taking of Prince Harry," about the risks of re-deploying the Prince to the front line in Afghanistan.

Reid's stage appearances include "'Tis a Pity She's a Whore" at West Yorkshire Playhouse and "One Night in November" at the Belgrade Theater. He was also featured in many productions at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, including "Guys and Dolls," "The Three Sisters," "King John" and "Antigone," among others.
