Samantha Bee was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, and understands that, yes, it's very clean there. Having no appreciable skill set or professional aspirations, Samantha Bee turned to acting and found a safe harbor. Samantha Bee began her career by doing numerous commercial campaigns, and as a member of the all female sketch troupe The Atomic Fireballs.
In 2003, Samantha Bee joined the cast of Comedy Central's "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart" and now holds the title Most Senior Correspondent,
Samantha Bee is the recipient of the 2005 Canadian Comedy Award for "Pretty Funny Female."
When she is not working Samantha Bee enjoys walking her toddler in circles around her tiny apartment and correcting spelling errors on menus.
