Sarah Bolger stars in "Once Upon a Time" on ABC in the recurring role of Sleeping Beauty.

Actress Sarah Bolger is a Dublin native who has been acting since she was five years of age. She made her screen debut just two years later in the Irish drama "A Love Divided" (1999), which she followed with "A Secret Affair." She recently starred in "Iron Cross" (2010) and "The Spiderwick Chronicles" (2008) and had a recurring role in Showtime's drama series "The Tudors" as Mary Tudor.

Bolger recently starred in FOX's 2011 pilot "Locke & Key" — a thriller following a family in crisis as they move into a haunted house full of secrets, dangers and wondrous opportunities. The pilot is based on the graphic novel by Joe Hill and is executive produced by Steven Spielberg.

Bolger came to international attention in 2001 in Jim Sheridan's semi-autobiographical "In America," in which she starred opposite her real-life sister, Emma. Her performance as Christy — the eldest child holding together an emotionally shattered family — won her plaudits and many nominations around the world including Best Newcomer at the Spirit Awards.

Alongside numerous appearances in prestigious TV drama productions in her native Ireland, Bolger appeared opposite Andie MacDowell in "Tara Road" (2005), and starred alongside Mickey Rourke and Bill Nighy in "Stormbreaker" (2006).
