Sarah Parish stars in History Channel's miniseries "Hatfields & McCoys," as Levicy Hatfield, wife of Devil Anse Hatfield and his closest, most trusted confidant. Levicy is the mother of Johnse, Cap, and their eleven other children.

Sarah Parish is currently filming the second season of ITV's medical drama "Monroe," opposite James Nesbitt. She previously starred in Starz' "The Pillars of the Earth," as Lady Regan Hamleigh, and BBC's "Mistresses" as Dr. Katie Roden.

British actress Sarah Parish began her professional acting career in musical comedy on the London stage in "Nine" at the Donmar Warehouse and "Popcorn" at the Apollo Theater. Her early TV credits include "Peak Practice," which earned her the 1999 Regional Television Award for Best Actress, and "Cutting It," for which she was nominated Most Popular Actress at the 2002 National Television Awards.

She's also appeared as Maggie Joy Blunt in "Our Hidden Lives," a drama based on the real diaries of people in post-war Britain. It also starred Richard Briers, Ian McDiarmid and Lesley Sharp. Additional credits include "The Vice," "Hearts and Bones," "Trust," "Reversals," "If I Had You" and "Sex, the City, and Me." Parish has also made guest appearances in several programs, including "Kiss Me Kate," "Babes in The Wood" and "City Central."

Parish first played opposite David Tennant in the Golden Globe-nominated musical drama "Blackpool," as the wife of arcade owner Ripley Holden (David Morrisey), who has an affair with Peter Carlisle (Tennant), a police officer investigating her husband for murder. Parish and Tennant were later reunited in the TV drama "Dr. Who," where she played the villainous Empress of the Racnoss, and again in the harrowing 2007 drama "Recovery."

In 2005 Parish starred in the Shakespeare re-told production of "Much Ado About Nothing" for director David Nicholl and BBC One. She plays Beatrice, one of a pair of newscasters with fictional station Wessex TV, the other being old flame Benedick Damien Lewis. The drama also stars Billie Piper, Nina Sosanya, Tom Ellis and Martin Jarvis. Parish also appeared in the romantic comedies "The Wedding Date" and "The Holiday."

In addition, Parish has starred in several radio dramas including "The Goldfish Bowl," "Room at the Top" and "Snapper", and the 1998 film "Parting Shots."
