Sarah Potenza from "The Voice" is one of top 48 artists in Season 8 of the NBC reality singing competition series. From Smithfield, Rhode Island, she is on Blake Shelton's team.

Sarah Potenza sang "Stay with Me" by Faces for her blind audition. After all four judges turned their chairs around, Sarah chose Shelton to be her coach.

Sarah grew up performing for her family and listening to her parents' record collection. In junior high her voice got very low, and she performed as a baritone in an all-male choir and even sang male parts in musicals. With her father's encouragement, she eventually started a band with her husband. Sarah's dad always supported her individuality and told her to be true to herself. Sarah is hoping her time on "The Voice" will give her biggest fan, her dad, the ultimate dream come true.
