Sarah Strange stars as Theresa on ABC's "Men in Trees."

Sarah Strange was born in British Columbia, Canada to a show business family. Sarah Strange's parents (screenwriters L.S. Strange and Marc Strange) together created "The Beachcombers," the longest running series in Canadian television history. Growing up around the Canadian film and television industry, Sarah Strange inexplicably decided to become an actress anyway. Upon graduating from high school, Sarah Strange landed her first professional job on the award-winning dramatic series "Madison." At 21 Sarah Strange won a Best Guest Performance Gemini Award for her work on the series "Neon Rider."

Sarah Strange's impressive resume includes a long run of guest turns in series like "The X-Files," "Millenium," "Dark Angel," "The Chris Isaak Show," "Poltergeist," "The Outer Limits," "Stargate SG-1," as well as dual roles in Ken Finkleman's groundbreaking comedy "Foolish Heart." Sarah Strange had lead roles in the Disney television movie "Ladies and the Champ," starring Olympia Dukakis and Marion Ross, and in "The Piano Man's Daughter," based on the novel by Timothy Findley.

Television audiences enjoyed numerous seasons of Sarah Strange's multiple Gemini-nominated portrayal of the very popular Helen character on Chris Haddock's landmark television series, "Da Vinci's Inquest." Sarah Strange can also be seen in the Showtime series "The L Word," and once again opposite Ken Finkleman on "The Newsroom." In addition Sarah Strange portrayed a single mom to Kelly Osbourne's character in ABC's "Life As We Know It," and recently completed two successful seasons of the edgy Movie Central television series, "ReGenesis."

Film audiences enjoyed Sarah Strange's work opposite Scott Speedman in "Kitchen Party," a feature film written and directed by Gary Burns, and she cameoed in "White Noise," opposite Michael Keaton, and appeared in the indie feature "Pursued," starring Christian Slater and Gil Bellows. Sarah Strange can next be seen opposite Milla Jovovich and Stephen Dorff in Gary Lennon's upcoming ".45."

Sarah Strange was nominated for a LEO Award—where film and television talent and programs in British Columbia are honored for their work—for "Dark Arc," which premiered at the 2004 Montreal Film Festival to rave reviews. In addition she won a 2006 LEO Award for Best Lead Performance by a Female in a Feature Length Drama for her work in "The Zero Sum."

Sarah Strange currently jets between Vancouver and Toronto with her small dog in tow and boxing gloves at the ready.
