Scott Dangerfield from "American Idol 2012" is rumored to be one of the top 60 contestants in Season 11 of the FOX reality singing competition.
Scott Dangerfield ("American Idol") previously earned a golden ticket to Hollywood in Season 10. He sang "Dreamin'" by Amos Lee for his audition that year in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. All three judges voted yes to send him to the next round, but he ultimately decided to pass up the opportunity because it conflicted with his student teaching job at a local high school. He said, "The kids are depending on me."
Dangerfield is the former lead singer of the contemporary pop band Hillcrest Road, whose debut album was "Life after Liftoff." He left the band in 2009.
