Scott Porter portrays Jason Street, Dillon High School's star quarterback, who at the start of the season feels the weight of the world riding on his shoulders, in the NBC television drama "Friday Night Lights."

Since relocating to New York City in 2005, Scott Porter has starred in two Off-Broadway productions: "Altar Boyz" as Matthew (Drama League Ensemble Cast Nominee) and the award-winning "Toxic Audio" (Drama Desk Award, Most Unique Theatrical Experience).

Porter's television credits include: "The Bedford Diaries," "All My Children," and "As the World Turns." Porter's film credits include "Music and Lyrics" starring Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore, and the independent feature "Descent," starring Rosario Dawson.

Porter resides in New York.
