Sean Gleeson stars in "Proof" on TNT as Dr. Len Barliss.

British actor Sean Gleeson has recently appeared in "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" for the National Theatre in the West End, directed by Marianne Elliot. He has also appeared in an episode of Sky's "The Café," directed by Robin Sheppard, and an episode of BBC's "Public Enemies." He's best known for playing Ronnie Woodson in "Doctors" from 2003–2009. Since leaving the role, he's moved behind the camera and has been directing several blocks of this award-winning BBC soap.

Other television and film acting credits include "Cold Mountain," directed by Anthony Minghella, "Dalziel and Pascoe" (BBC), "Holby City" (BBC), "Safe House" (Alibi), "Eastenders" (BBC), and "Underworld" (Channel 4).

Theater credits include "Earthquakes in London" for Headlong/National Theatre, directed by Rupert Goold; "In Celebration" for Chichester, directed by Sean Holmes, "Molly Sweeney" for Bristol Old Vic, directed by Gareth Machin, "Aristocrats" for Chichester, directed by Sean Holmes and "The Weir" for the Royal Court, directed by Ian Rickson.

Gleeson has also directed several short films.
