Sebastien Roy from "Pyros" stars in the Weather Channel reality series. He is the technical director and co-owner of Groupe Fiatlux-Ampleman (GFA), one of Canada's most sought-after pyro companies. He says, "There's no school for this."

Sebastien Roy started with Fiatlux in 2000 and is now one of the partners, but that doesn't mean he sticks to the office. Seb gets his hands dirty like the rest of them.

The toughest show he's ever done was in 2002 for a Saint-Jean-Baptiste event in Quebec City when pounding rain and wind soaked the show. Another tough show was in 2004 when the wind changed direction and flaming plastic debris started drifting onto the crowd. Then, the same year, a big charge exploded as he was loading it, whizzing past his head and knocking over a friend standing beside him.

When he's not putting on a show, Seb is charged with developing new business for GFA and despite the pressure, he comes off as a fun-loving, big kid at heart.
