Sedale Threatt Jr. stars in "Roots" on History Channel as Tom.

Sedale Threatt Jr. is a recent graduate of the University of Southern California's MFA Theatre Program. He was last directed on stage by Kate Burton in Chekov's "The Seagull" and performed at the Ebony Repertory Theatre's production of "The Gospel at Colonus" for director Andi Chapman. 

Additional theater credits include "Blood Match," "The Servant of Two Masters," "Pericles," and "The Time of Your Life." Prior to USC, he attended the Boston Conservatory of the Arts and Lehigh University, with time also spent at the Guthrie Theatre in Minneapolis.

Threatt currently resides in Los Angeles.
