Seth Rogen stars in in the dark comedy "Observe and Report" (2009). Seth Rogen also lends his voice to the 3D animation movie, "Monsters vs. Aliens" (2009). Up next for Rogen is this summer's comedy "Funny People" opposite Adam Sandler, and he is set to begin production on the highly-anticipated big-screen adaptation of "The Green Hornet" which he co-wrote. Seth Rogen has emerged leading a new generation of comedic actors, writers and producers with several blockbuster films including "Pineapple Express," "Superbad," and "Knocked Up." Seth Rogen previously worked with director/writer/producer Judd Apatow on "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" in which Rogan played the role of Cal and for which he served as a co-producer. Seth Rogen also worked with him on the critically acclaimed television series, "Undeclared" and "Freaks and Geeks." Rogen's breakout role was in the critically acclaimed NBC series "Freaks and Geeks," followed by a scene-stealing turn in "The 40 Year Old-Virgin." Seth Rogen began his career at the age of 13, performing standup comedy in Vancounver, Canada, where he was born and raised. Seth Rogen moved to Los Angeles in 1999 to work on "Freaks and Geeks." Seth Rogen's feature film credits include roles in "Donnie Darko," starring Jake Gyllenhaal, and the Judd Apatow-produced comedy, "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy," starring Will Ferrell, Christina Applegate, and Paul Rudd. Seth Rogen received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Writing for a Variety, Music or Comedy Program for his work on the hit HBO comedy "Da Ali G Show," on which he has also appeared. Seth Rogen has also written projecgts for Universal, 20th Century Fox, and Paramount.
