Shannon Tweed stars on A&E's docu-drama series, "Gene Simmons Family Jewels."

Canadian born Shannon Tweed was raised on a mink ranch in Newfoundland. Imported by Playboy as miss November 1981, Shannon Tweed was named Playmate of the Year in 1982, as well as Hugh Hefner's love interest. Soon Shannon Tweed was appearing as a regular on CBS's "Falcon Crest," NBC's "Days of Our Lives," HBO's "First and Ten" and, more recently, WB's "Tom Arnold Show" and "My Guide to Becoming a Rock Star" with Oliver Hudson. Shannon Tweed  has guest starred on a range of shows, including "Fantasy Island," "Frasier," "Married with Children" and "Wings."

Shannon Tweed lives "Happily UNmarried" to her spousal equivalent of nearly 25 years, Gene Simmons, and their two children: Nick, 20, and Sophie, 16. Shannon Tweed keeps busy with the family's schedules and sports, and is currently Wildwood School's PTA executive director. The release of her autobiography, "Kiss and Tell" debuted August, 2006. When Shannon Tweed is not in front of the camera you'll find her running at fitness club 'Burn 60' in Brentwood, California or commuting to her second home in Whistler, British Columbia.
