Shannyn Sossamon stars in HBO's "How to Make It in America" as Gingy, Gingy, Ben and Cam's artsy friend. Previously, Shannyn Sossamon starred as Coraline on CBS's "Moonlight."

Shannyn Sossamon's credits include the upcoming films "Wristcutters: A Love Story," "The Heavy," "One Missed Call" and "Life Is Hot In Cracktown." Shannyn Sossamon has also appeared in "40 Days 40 Nights," "The Order," "A Knight's Tale," "The Rules of Attraction," "The Holiday," "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang," "Chasing Ghosts," and "Undiscovered."

Shannyn Sossamon's television credits include "Law & Order: SVU" and "Dirt."

Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Shannyn Sossamon was raised in Reno, Nevada. After moving to Los Angeles to pursue a dancing career, Shannyn Sossamon was spotted by a casting director while DJ-ing at a party and turned her energy toward acting. In her spare time, Shannyn Sossamon enjoys photography and writing music.
