Shaun Brown stars in "The Great Indoors" on CBS as Mason.

Shaun Brown is a rising actor of film and television. Most recently, he appeared in the digital series "Party Girl." His additional television credits include guest starring in "School of Rock," "Fresh Off the Boat," "Grimm," "Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn," "Glee," "Rizzoli & Isles," "The Newsroom," "True Blood," "Big Time Rush," "Switched at Birth" and "Bunheads."

Feature film credits include "Heart, Baby," an independent feature directed by Angela Shelton, and "Wilson," alongside Woody Harrelson, Laura Dern and Judy Greer.

When not acting, Brown is a dedicated supporter of the Shanele Jasmine Brown Memorial Scholarship, which was established in his sister's name by his mother in 1996. Since 1997, the commemorative scholarship sends one student to college annually.

A one-time professional hip-hop dancer, Brown loves video games and is a travel enthusiast whose favorite destination is Japan. He aspires to write and direct his own projects, with underrepresented minorities at the helm.

A member of a military family that moved often, Brown grew up in a variety of U.S. cities as well as Panama. Currently, he resides in Los Angeles.

Brown is a graduate of the University of Miami and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting.
