Canadian born actress Shenae Grimes stars in The CW's drama "90210," her first U.S. television series, as the sweet theater student Annie Wilson.

The 18-year-old who hails from Toronto is best known to audiences for her role as Darcy in "Degrassi: The Next Generation," for which she won the Gemini Award in 2007 for "Best Performance in a Youth Series." After guest-starring in several episodes of "Degrassi: The Next Generation" in season 4, Shenae Grimes became a regular cast member in the fifth cycle.

Shenae Grimes has had a love of performing since a very young age. Shenae Grimes' acting career began when she enrolled in a triple-threat program and was discovered by her agent at a performance. Since then, Shenae Grimes has fallen in love with acting and has been focused on developing her film and television career.

Shenae Grimes recently starred opposite Ashley Tisdale in "Picture This!" and completed production on the feature "Dead Like Me," as well as the television movie "True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet." Shenae Grimes previously co-starred in the CBC movie of the week "Shania," where she portrayed a teenaged Shania Twain, and had a recurring role on "Naturally Sadie." Shenae Grimes has a love for fashion and recently completed an internship at Fashion Television in Toronto.

Shenae Grimes currently resides in Los Angeles.
