Simon West is the director of "The Mechanic," an action thriller starring Jason Statham, Ben Foster and Donald Sutherland.

Simon West, a British-born filmmaker, started at the BBC in London as an editor. He then moved on to direct many award-winning commercials, before transitioning into features.
