Sinqua Walls stars in MTV's "Teen Wolf," as Boyd, and plays the recurring role of Daniel in ABC Family's "The Secret Life of the American Teenager." On the big screen, Walls recently starred opposite Sara Paxton and Dustin Milligan in "Shark Night 3D" as Malik.

Sinqua Walls was born in Los Angeles, California, and at a young age developed a simultaneous love for acting and sports. As a child, he played a variety of sports including baseball, basketball, football, and track, and received College scholarship offers. His acting career began at an early age as he participated in various school plays and local theater. Having moved to San Francisco to hone his skills, he participated in various notable plays such as "The Christmas Carol" and "Waiting for Lefty." While in the Bay Area, along with theater Walls participated in several independent features both in front of and behind the camera, often for no-pay, and sleeping on friends couches to further his due diligence to pursuing his craft.

Walls has been seen in recurring roles on the critically acclaimed NBC and Direct TV drama "Friday Night Lights," as Jamarcus Halland, and NBC's daytime soap opera "Passions," as Miles Harris. Walls also has had guest appearances on series such as Disney XD's "Pair of Kings," Spike TV's "Blue Mountain State," ABC's "Grey's Anatomy," NBC's "Chuck" and ABC Family's "Lincoln Heights." In addition, he frequently has been seen in various national commercials

For his performance in the dramatic short film "The Second Half," Walls netted Best Lead Actor nominations from both the Southern California and Pan African film festivals.

Though often humorously nicknamed a "robot" by his close family and friends for his focus and persistence, he has varied personal interests, ranging from his continued practice of the Israeli martial art "Krav Maga" and other competitive activities, to his continued quest to find the best "cookie" in the world.

Walls is also a published poet and an advocate for the homeless.
