Skipper Bivins from "Hillbilly Handfishin'" stars in the Animal Planet reality docu-series. He says, "I'm proud to say that my family has gained quite a reputation for catching monster catfish."

Skipper Bivins ("Hillbilly Handfishin'") has been noodling for as long as he can remember. Although he has called Temple, Oklahoma, home for the last seven years, this five-time world champion Okie noodler was born and raised in nearby Walters, Oklahoma. Skipper caught his first fish at the age of four after his father taught him the sport of noodling. He's been hand fishing ever since, and as a third-generation noodler and "self-proclaimed hillbilly," Skipper passed down his love of the unique sport to his two children, whom he took to the waters when they were as young as 18 months old.

The biggest catfish Skipper ever caught was 111 pounds, and at one time, this fish would have broken a world record. Skipper typically noodles two to four days per week, and before starting his family noodling business, Big Fish Adventures, three years ago, he was a carpenter in Oklahoma. Since then, the noodling business has soared, and the main highlights of his job are meeting new people and seeing their reactions to the sport.
