Snowbird Brown, aka Bird Brown, from "Alaskan Bush People" stars in the Discovery Channel reality docu-series.

Snowbird Brown is the first daughter of Billy Bryan Brown and Ami Brown. After having five boys in a row, her parents were shocked to learn they were having a girl. All of her brothers talked about having a sister to watch over and take care of, but as she grew up, even at a young age, it became more and more obvious this wasn't going to be the case.

At just five and six years old, one would think her family would be baiting hooks for her and taking fish off her line, but even at that age she was independent and already had a love for the outdoors. She has a drive and competitive spirit that is unmatched, yet her compassion has no bounds.

When the family is home in the mountain valley, Snowbird's days are spent in the outdoors. When she isn't hunting, she climbs to the high mountain meadow just to watch the deer. When she's not fishing, she still spends time at the river writing and drawing.

Snowbird loves animals of all kinds. Her pets include a frog, five red-eared Slider turtles, three cats, two dogs and a squirrel. Onboard the boat Bird started with its navigation, but the wheelhouse proved to be too confined for her. She now works the deck baiting and icing fish.
