Spear Clan from "American Jungle" is one of the hunting clans in Hawaii featured in the History Channel reality docu-series.

Scotty Boy, leader of the Spear clan, grew up in a family with a lineage stretching back to Hawaiian royalty from the mid-1800s. His powerful family controlled large swaths of prime ranch land carved from jungle across the island. As the cattle industry withered, the family turned to hunting and the preservation of their trails — some of which are more than 150 years old.

Scotty went to college in California and returned home with the dream of reclaiming his family's power and dominance on the island. Regrettably, he chose an illegal form of entrepreneurship: trafficking drugs. He got caught and went to a federal prison in Oregon for seven years.

While in jail, Scotty asked his cousin Charlie Boy and childhood friend Sherman to maintain the trails and keep the rival clans out of their territory. But with Scotty gone so long, the trails fell into decline and the other clans seized the opportunity to encroach on their land. Now, Scotty's back and determined to return his clan to the power it used to be.
