Steve Evets stars in BBC America's post-zombie apocalypse drama "In the Flesh," as Bill Macy, who comes from a long line of working class laborers and army men.

Steve Evets is best known for his performance in Ken Loach's "Looking for Eric," which earned him a nomination for Best Actor at the European Film Awards. His first major film role was alongside Robert Carlyle in Kenneth Glenaan's BAFTA award-winning "Summer," and other features include the blockbuster "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides," starring Johnny Depp, "Guinea Pigs," "Brighton Rock" and Ridley Scott's "Robin Hood," starring Russell Crowe. More recently, Evets appeared in in Joe Wright's "Anna Karenina," starring Keira Knightley, Matthew Macfadyen and Jude Law.

On UK television, Evets starred in "Rev." and "Five Days" and has had guest roles in "Scott and Bailey," "The Street" and "Life on Mars." Further television work includes "New Street Law," "The Innocence Project," "Vincent," "See No Evil," "The 11th Hour," "Blue Murder," "Conviction," "No Angels," "Shameless," "Blood Strangers," "Buried" and "Gifted."
