Sydney Lucas stars in "The Son" on AMC as Jeannie McCullough, the strong-willed tomboy daughter of Pete (Henry Garrett).

Sydney Lucas received a Tony Award nomination in 2015 for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her performance as Small Alison in "Fun Home" at the Circle in the Square Theatre. She was the youngest individual in history to win an Obie Award for Outstanding Performance for her work and also received Lucille Lortel, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Drama League nominations.

She was part of early readings and workshops of the Pulitzer finalist and appeared in the Public Theater premiere in 2013. She garnered acclaim for her interpretation of the coming-of-age tune "Ring of Keys," which she performed on the 2015 Tony Awards telecast.

In addition, Lucas performed on stage in "The Secret Garden" at Lincoln Center and Verdi's "Macbeth" at the Metropolitan Opera House. Workshops in which has participated include "The Fre," "Amelie, the Musical" "Iowa," "Once Around the Moon" and "Table."

On the big screen, Lucas was seen in Peter Bogdanovich's "She's Funny That Way," starring Imogen Poots, Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston, "The Skeleton Twins," alongside Kristen Wiig, Bill Hader and Luke Wilson, and "Girl Most Likely," opposite Kristen Wiig, Annette Bening and Matt Dillon.

On television, Lucas guest starred in episodes of "Law & Order: SVU" and "Royal Pains." She also played Jeremy Renner's daughter in a skit on "Saturday Night Live" and was seen in national commercials for Campbell's Soup and Amazon Kindle Fire.
